Speaking at the ‘Government at the Village Door’ program in Nakki village, Paragpur, Kangra district, he mentioned efforts to promote tourism activities in the Paong Dam area. Plans worth 100 crores are set to commence in the coming times. The Chief Minister highlighted the economic challenges faced by the people, citing the burden of over one lakh rupees in debt on every Himachali due to the economic legacy inherited from the previous BJP government.

The state government is actively working to revive the economy and has succeeded in bringing the state’s economy back on track by up to 20% within a year. The government is also investing in projects like the 250 crore milk processing plant in Dharamshala.
