US President-elect Donald Trump has introduced a new merchandise line: a series of branded acoustic and electric guitars. The collection, available through the ‘Trump Guitars’ website, includes four distinct series: The “American Eagle Series,” the “Presidential Series,” the “Signature Edition,” and “God Bless The USA.” Trump also teased an upcoming special edition, the “45” guitar, with only 1,300 units available—both acoustic and electric—some of which are personally signed by him.
Details of the Guitars
The “American Eagle Series” features both acoustic and electric guitars adorned with images of the American flag and a bald eagle. Additionally, the phrase “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN” is inlaid in pearl along the guitar’s neck. The guitars in this series are priced at $1,250 for acoustic and $1,500 for electric versions. Trump’s signed guitars from this series are priced at $10,000, and only 275 signed guitars are available.
According to the website, these guitars also feature the number 45 on the headstock, signifying Trump’s term as the 45th president. The site promises that all orders will be delivered by Christmas.
Other Guitar Series and Prices
In addition to the “American Eagle Series,” the “Presidential Series” will offer the first 1,000 numbered guitars for $2,000 each. There are also “God Bless The USA” acoustic guitars available for $1,000, though the exact number of these guitars up for sale is unspecified.
Trump’s Ongoing Merchandising Ventures
This guitar launch is part of Donald Trump’s continued push into merchandise sales. During his presidential campaigns, Trump has promoted various high-ticket items. In September, he introduced a series of $100,000 watches, $100 silver coins, limited edition sneakers, and even $60 Trump-branded Bibles. He also marketed NFT trading cards and a special “Mugshot Edition” card, which included a bonus offer for a piece of his suit from his infamous mugshot, as well as a dinner with Trump at Mar-a-Lago.
Merchandising Success
Trump’s merchandising efforts have proven financially successful. According to CNN, his $60 Bible earned approximately $399,000 in sales, while the limited edition sneakers also sold out, generating at least $399,000 in revenue. However, the most profitable venture so far has been his NFTs, which brought in about $7.2 million in licensing fees.
With his guitar series, Trump continues to tap into the merchandise market, offering his supporters unique collectibles linked to his brand and presidency.
