Aside from the characters, their dialogue delivery, and the series’ simplicity, one aspect that has captured viewers’ hearts is the setting of the gram panchayat depicted in the show—Phulera. So, “Phulera” from Panchayat is actually situated in Madhya Pradesh, with the setup located in Mahodiya Village, Sehore.

Madhya Pradesh Tourism, while unveiling the actual location, stated, “Thank you for your response to Jigyasa. And the correct answer is – Mahodiya Village, Sehore, Madhya Pradesh.”

Panchayat is a comedy-drama series created by Chandan Kumar and directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra. It features Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Chandan Roy, and Faisal Malik, among others. Anurag Saikia composed the soundtrack and score for the series.
