Karnataka Congress president DK Shivakumar has been summoned by Enforcement Directorate in connection with the money laundering case.  Shivkumar has to appear before the agency on November 7. The agency recorded the statements of both Shivkumar and his MP brother DK Suresh on October 7 in connection with the national herald money laundering case. Former Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi had already been questioned in the case.  

Earlier also on 9 September, Shivakumar had appeared before ED for questioning in connection with another money laundering case linked to the alleged possession of disproportionate assets.
