An awareness camp, conducted in Government Secondary School, Abhaypur and led by District Social Welfare Officer Vishal Saini in collaboration with the Narcotics Anonymous group, aimed to educate school students about the harmful consequences of drug addiction. During the event, students were informed about the adverse effects, various types, and the overall impact of drug addiction on individuals and society.

Members of the Narcotics Anonymous group emphasized that drug addiction negatively influences different aspects of society, leading individuals towards harmful substances like alcohol, smoking, gutkha, and drugs. This destructive habit not only jeopardizes the individual’s health but also hinders the progress of their family, community, and nation. Hence, the fight against drug addiction is crucial.

District Social Welfare Officer, Dr. Vishal Saini, stressed the significance of experiencing a healthy, drug-free life. Creating awareness about drug addiction is essential for fostering a positive and healthy future. He encouraged students to steer clear of drugs, educate their peers about the detrimental effects, and promote the importance of a drug-free lifestyle. The event witnessed the presence of Jashanjit Advisor (Service Department, Haryana), school teachers, and members of the Narcotics Anonymous group.
