Under the doorstep delivery of citizen-centric services initiated by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Maan through ‘Bhagwant Maan Sarkar Tuhade Duar,’ Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar district has successfully provided 438 services to residents by visiting their homes. To avail these services, individuals can book a time slot by dialing the toll-free number 1076.
Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain disclosed that the Punjab government has introduced a total of 43 citizen-centric services across various departments in response to citizens’ demands. The district has, so far, delivered 438 services related to different departments, addressing 466 requests received under this service. Eight service assistants (Sewa Sahayaks) are actively reaching out to applicants’ homes to provide the requested services.
Emphasizing the importance of regular monitoring and timely disposal, the Deputy Commissioner instructed district officials to ensure the effective implementation of citizen-centric services booked through the 1076 helpline under the ‘Bhagwant Maan Sarkar Tuhade Duar’ initiative.
This initiative aims to streamline services and eliminate the challenges faced by the common people in various government offices, and strict action will be taken against any laxity by officers or employees, added the Deputy Commissioner.
She urged people to book their time slots by dialing 1076 to receive services at their doorstep, emphasizing the significant time-saving benefits compared to visiting government offices in person.
Services available through Dial 1076 encompass a wide range, including certificates, document-related services, social justice schemes, labor-related services, personnel certificates, revenue-related services, social security schemes, and more. This initiative reflects a commitment to improving public services and accessibility across various domains.
