The much-anticipated trailer of Singham Again, featuring Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Arjun Kapoor, was unveiled at a grand event in Mumbai on Monday, October 7. Known for its intense action and references to the Ramayan, the trailer is making headlines not only for its intriguing storyline but also for its length—clocking in at a record-breaking five minutes, making it the longest trailer in Indian cinema history.

However, YouTuber Dhruv Rathee took a humorous dig at the trailer on social media, posting on X (formerly Twitter), “Thanks to Rohit Shetty for releasing Singham 3 summary on Youtube directly. No need to go to the theatre anymore.” His remark quickly caught the attention of netizens, sparking a debate.

Trailer Reactions

While some social media users echoed Dhruv’s sentiment, claiming the lengthy trailer might spoil the movie-watching experience, others criticized the YouTuber for his sarcastic post. One user quipped, “Rohit Shetty saved everyone’s money! Now you can watch Singham 3’s action on YouTube without queuing at the theatre.” Another added, “Rohit Shetty has released a 5-minute film today. Do we still need to watch the movie?”

On the flip side, critics of Dhruv’s post responded with comments like, “Tujhe b har jgha ghusna hai Dhruv. Agenda chalane tk reh na bhai,” while others pointed out that his criticism might be linked to the trailer’s Ramayan references.

Singham Again: Ramayan-Inspired Action Spectacle

Directed by Rohit Shetty, Singham Again continues the legacy of the high-octane Singham series. The trailer hints at a gripping action-entertainer, blending drama, emotions, and humour. Ajay Devgn reprises his role as Bajirao Singham, channeling Lord Ram as he embarks on a mission to rescue his wife Avni, played by Kareena Kapoor. Arjun Kapoor takes on the role of the film’s villain, adding to the tension.

The trailer also introduces other significant characters inspired by the Ramayan, with Tiger Shroff portraying Lakshman, Ranveer Singh embodying Hanuman, and Akshay Kumar making an appearance as Jataayu.

While the debate around the trailer’s length continues, Singham Again promises to deliver an action-packed cinematic experience, characteristic of Rohit Shetty’s films.
