According to a study by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the bulk of the 347 passenger complaints that the scheduled domestic airlines received in March of this year related to luggage and flight issues.

On Tuesday, the AT report for the month of March was released by DGCA. The report states further that in March, this year, a total of 347 passenger-related complaints were received by scheduled domestic airlines. The number of complaints per 10,000 passengers carried for March 2023 has been around 0.27.

According to the Aviation Regulator Report-

  1. Flight related problems- 38.6 per cent
  2. Baggage problems- 22.2 per cent
  3. Refund- related problems- 11.5 per cent

According to the report, Air India received the most complaints (106), followed by Spicejet (100), and IndiGo (66). With the exception of four complaints that are still ongoing against Air India and Alliance Air, all 347 received complaints have been resolved.
