Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust has urged all Ram devotees to not get anxious to reach Ayodhya. Instead, they have been asked to watch the live broadcast of Bhoomi Pujan on Doordarshan from the comfort of their homes and celebrate this grand and divine occasion by lighting diyas in their house on the evening of 5 August.

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra, through its official Twitter handle, said that it gave due consideration to the faith of the devotees but the ongoing pandemic had made it impossible to have public participation at the site. The trust assured that all Lord Ram devotees will be given an opportunity to participate in the construction ceremony of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in future.

Champat Rai, General Secretary, Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust, has told The Daily Guardian that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be hosting the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony on 5 August. No other state’s CM is being invited.
