On Thursday, the Ministry of Law and Justice announced the appointment of several Judicial officers and Advocates as Judges of various High Courts in Delhi, Chhatisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
The central government has announced the appointment of 13 judicial officers and advocates to the four high courts mentioned above.
The Ministry has also transferred Patna High Court Judge Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma to the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Justice Atul Sreedharan, a Madhya Pradesh High Court judge, has been appointed to the Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Courts.
Union Law and Justice Minister Kiren Rijiju tweeted on Thursday, “In the exercise of the power conferred by the Constitution of India, the President of India is pleased to appoint several Judicial officers and Advocates as Judges in the High Courts and also transfer High Court Judges.”
Sanjay Kumar Jaiswal, Judicial Officer, has been appointed as Additional Judge to the Chhatisgarh High Court, according to the new list. Judicial Officers Girish Kathpalia and Manoj Jain have been appointed as Additional Judges to the Delhi High Court.
