Passengers using the Delhi Metro’s Yellow Line, please take note! The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has released an advisory for October 11 (Friday). According to this advisory, metro services on the Yellow Line will be temporarily affected in the morning for approximately half an hour due to maintenance work at Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station.
The DMRC states that metro services on this line will be suspended until 6:25 AM on Friday as part of the planned maintenance activities at Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station, which is part of the Yellow Line (Saiyapur Badli to Millennium City Centre Gurugram).
Revised Timings for October 11
As per the DMRC, the first train from Vishwavidyalaya to Millennium City Centre Gurugram will depart at 6:29 AM on Friday (October 11, 2024), instead of the usual 6:00 AM. Additionally, the first train from Kashmiri Gate to Samaypur Badli will start at 6:40 AM.
Train services will be suspended between Vishwavidyalaya and Kashmere Gate stations, and vice versa. Furthermore, the Vidhan Sabha and Civil Lines stations will remain closed until train services resume at 6:25 PM.
Normal train services will continue on other major sections of the Yellow Line, from Millennium City Centre Gurugram to Kashmere Gate and from Samaypur Badli to Vishwavidyalaya stations.
To prevent any inconvenience during the morning rush on October 11, the DMRC has announced that information will be provided through announcements inside the stations and trains on the Yellow Line regarding train destinations and platform changes during the maintenance period.
