In a frightening parallel to the Shraddha Walkar murder case, a woman and her son were detained by Delhi Police on Monday for reportedly killing her husband, slicing him into pieces, and then putting the fragments in a refrigerator.
According to the police, the man killed his father with the assistance of his mother, dismembered his body, and stored the fragments in the refrigerator. The incident happened in the nation’s capital, at Trilokpuri.
According to officials, the body parts were scattered around Pandav Nagar and East Delhi.
After midnight, police set up a covert in front of Chand Cinema, where they were able to catch the offender in the act.
The case comes after the highly publicised murder trial of Aaftab Poonawala, who is accused of killing and dismembering his live-in partner Shradda Walkar in May of this year. He kept the chopped pieces in a refrigerator and gradually dumped them in Gurgaon’s and South Delhi’s forested areas.
The suspect is taking a polygraph test right now while being held by Delhi Police.
