For Thousands of students from Delhi who were stuck in Kota due to lockdown, it was journey they were eagerly waiting for. Around 40 busses from Delhi has reached Kota to bring them back home in Delhi. The announcement by the MHA that states can bring back their citizens came as a huge sigh of relief. According to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, “We’ve sent 40 buses to Kota. The students from Delhi who were stuck in Kota were making regular requests to be brought back home.

These students will reach Delhi on Saturday via these buses. The students are expected to self-quarantine for 14 days in their respective houses.” On the issue of stranded migrants in Delhi, Kejriwal said, “We’ve been talking to all the state government officials. The consensus of the discussions would be conveyed to the citizens. Till then, it is advised to stay indoors and follow the lockdown rules.”
