The Supreme Court on Monday postponed the hearing of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s petition challenging the halt on his bail. The hearing is now set for Wednesday.

Kejriwal went to the Supreme Court to challenge the Delhi High Court’s June 21 order, which stopped the trial court’s decision to grant him bail in the alleged liquor policy case.

The Supreme Court told advocate Abhishek Singhvi that making a decision on Kejriwal’s plea now would be like deciding the case in advance.

As per a report, “The Supreme Court of India scheduled Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s plea for June 26 against the High Court order that paused the bail granted to him by the trial court in the excise policy case.”
