A tragic incident at Rau’s IAS Study Circle in West Delhi has resulted in the death of a student and left two others trapped in a flooded basement for over four hours. Water suddenly surged into the basement, causing chaos and danger for those inside.

Visuals from Rajendra Nagar showed the basement of the coaching centre completely submerged. The fire brigade was alerted at 7:19 pm on Saturday, and five fire engines were dispatched to the scene. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams are also assisting in the rescue efforts.

Rescue Operations
Fire brigade officials reported that a girl’s body has been recovered from the basement. Rescue operations are ongoing as teams work to free the two remaining trapped students.

The incident highlights the urgent need for improved safety measures in educational institutions. Authorities are working diligently to manage the situation and provide assistance to the affected individuals.
