A ‘Shastra Pooja’ has been performed by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday morning as the nation is gripped with Dussehra fervour. Rajnath Singh performed the rituals with the weapons at the Auli Military Station in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli with Army Chief General Manoj Pande in attendance.The Defence Minister said, “We’re confident that our country is safe in the hands of our armed forces. The jawans of our armed forces and paramilitary forces are the pride of our country.”
