Srikanth Odhela’s directorial Dasara has created havoc at the box office. Reportedly, the film grossed over Rs 30 crore worldwide on Day 1. Apart from South superstar Nani, the film also stars Keerthy Suresh. For the unversed, the film clashed at the box office against Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa. According to initial trade reports, Nani’s pan-Indian film is off to a huge start at the box office. Reportedly, it collected over Rs 17 crore on day 1 while Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa managed to collect Rs 10 crore.
The film has become Nani career’s highest opener ever. A tweet by Andhra Box Office read: “#Dasara has taken an Amazing opening for a film of its cost 1st day WW Gross “estimated to be” around [Rs 33 Cr!] Sensational numbers, other than Top Tier!”

If reports are to be believed, the digital streaming rights of the film have been bagged by OTT giant Netflix. It will stream six weeks after its theatrical release. Dasara features a stellar cast such as Prakash Raj, Samuthirakani, Deekshith Shetty, Shine Tom Chackko, Rajendra Prasad, Sai Kumar, Zarina Wahab, and others in the supporting roles. Santhosh Narayanan has composed the songs and original score. Sathyan Sooryan is the director of photography. On the other hand, Naveen Nooli handles the editing.
