Crowdstrike CEO George Kurtz opens up on IT outage prevailing around the world. Issuing a statement regarding technical glitch George Kurtz said, ‘We’re deeply sorry.’

Furthermore, he also declared, that the update contained a software problem in it. As a result, the microsoft operating system had an issue.

Moreover, he also revealed, that the issue has been solved for now. However, Kurtz also warned, that it will take a while to get the system back on its track. But he assured, that ‘every customer is recovered.’

In addition, he also issued a clarification on the cybercrime angle and said ‘It wasn’t a cyber-attack. It was related to this, this content update.’

Currently, Taking to X he also said ‘CrowdStrike is actively working with customers impacted by a defect found in a single content update for Windows hosts. Mac and Linux hosts are not impacted. This is not a security incident or cyberattack. The issue has been identified, isolated and a fix has been deployed.’
