Considering the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in Gujarat, the state government has decided to implement night curfew from March 17in four metros, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot, between 10 pm and 6 am.

This system of night curfew will be in force till 31 March. The state government has decided to maintain the earlier arrangement of night curfew in all the four metros till Tuesday, 16 March, i.e. from 12 pm to 6 am. Following the government’s decision, state transport has also decided that buses will not enter the four cities after 10 pm. While the bus will not enter the city from the ring road, the corporation will make alternative arrangements from the ring road to take commuters to the city.
