Antibodies have been found in around 14.8 percent of people, according to the second report of the Sero Survey conducted in the state. Haryana Health and Home Minister, Anil Vij called upon the doctors to put in more efforts to bring down the present fatality rate of Covid-19 of 1.06 percent. He further directed that comprehensive research on the coronavirus should be conducted. 

The Health Minister gave these instructions while releasing the second report of the Sero Survey conducted to gauge the penetration of Covid-19. For the second phase of the Survey, held from October 19, 2020, to October 20, 2020, samples of about 14,477 people from all districts of the state were collected. The second report has confirmed the presence of antibodies in about 14.8 percent of the people. 

In the first survey which was conducted during August, antibodies were found in 8 percent of people, which have now increased to 14.8 percent this time. Vij said that in rural areas of the state 11.4 percent of antibodies have been found and in urban areas, 19.8 percent of antibodies have been found.

 The Health Minister said that the fraternity of doctors has played a pivotal role in preventing the spread of the coronavirus. As a result, the recovery rate in the state is 91.46 percent and the fatality rate is 1.06 percent.
