In wake of the political turmoil ahead of the forthcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections to be held next year, all political parties are leaving no stone unturned to prove their mettle.

Senior BJP leader Chaudhary Birendra Singh raised serious allegations of corruption against Deputy Chief Minister and JJP leader Dushyant Chautala in the Jind rally and held him responsible for rising corruption in the state.
He said that people always come to him with such complaints that the Deputy CM demands bribes in exchange for work.

Later, Digvijay Chautala, brother of Dushyant, challenged him, saying that he should give evidence against corruption within a week, failing which he will have to face a defamation case. Following the political blame game, former Union Minister Chaudhary Birendra Singh hit back at Digvijay Chautala, saying that JJP must go to the court or “we will expose corruption against him.”

On the other hand, the Haryana government is trying its best to protect its image by saying that nobody involved in corruption cases will be spared. Congress has said that action on corruption is just a show as the BJP-led government has spread corruption extensively during its tenure.
INLD is also not far away as it is continuously attacking JJP.

Digvijay Chautala further said that Congress leader Bhupendra Singh Hooda has also made serious allegations of corruption against his party and Dushyant many times. If evidence or documents are not given, then action will be taken against Hooda too. His uncle Abhay Chautala has also been continuously targeting his nephew Dushyant Chautala and JJP on corruption charges.

Digvijay further added that if he fails to provide any evidence regarding the allegations, then he would also be made a party in the court case. After becoming an ally of BJP in power, JJP has been continuously accused of corruption. Even during the Covid period, Opposition parties continuously attacked the party over the corruption issue. The party and Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala were accused of paddy scam, liquor scam and registry scam.
