The Chairman and members of the Corporate Grievance Redressal Forum of North Haryana Electricity Distribution Corporation, Panchkula, have scheduled a session on January 24, from 11 am to 4 pm, at the office of Corporate Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF), located at flat no. 520, Power Colony, Panchkula. During this designated timeframe, the forum will exclusively address complaints from consumers in the Panchkula district.
The Electricity Corporation’s spokesperson conveyed that the forum members are poised to address a variety of consumer issues within the Panchkula district. The scope of concerns includes complaints related to billing discrepancies, voltage irregularities, metering problems, power supply interruptions, disconnections, and connections.
These encompass issues concerning efficiency, safety, reliability, and non-compliance with orders from the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission. Notably, the forum will not entertain cases associated with electricity theft and unauthorized use under Section 126 and Section 135 to 139 of the Electricity Act, as well as cases related to investigations and accidents under Section 161.
