Congress will launch a public awareness campaign regarding ERCP from the Baran district on October 16. This campaign will include daily programs in two districts and the organization of six large public meetings.
The joint meeting of the core committee of the Pradesh Congress and the Congress leaders of 13 districts affected by ERCP was held at the Pradesh Congress Committee office on Sunday. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, All India Congress Committee’s Rajasthan in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Pradesh Congress President Govind Singh Dotasra, along with MLAs and other members of the Cabinet from the affected 13 districts attended the meeting.
During the meeting, it was said that the BJP-led central government had betrayed the people of Rajasthan by not making ERCP a national project.
