National Chairman of OBC Cell in Congress and senior leader of Congress in Haryana, former minister Captain Ajay Singh Yadav is becoming disillusioned with the Congress party. The Captain himself admitted that due to neglect he is now feeling suffocated. However, he also said that ‘I am indebted to Sonia Gandhi, who kept him on many big positions in the government and party. In his view, he does not want to say goodbye to the party.

In fact, Captain Ajay Singh Yadav, who was MLA from Rewari for 6 consecutive terms, had contested the last Lok Sabha elections from Gurugram seat. This time also he is willing to contest the Lok Sabha elections from Gurugram. But the claims of other leaders on the Gurugram seat are troubling him. This pain of Captain Ajay Yadav was expressed while talking to journalists in Gurugram.

The Captain said that the State Election Committee has invited applications from interested leaders to contest the elections. What is the point of taking this application? The State Election Committee was not formed properly. Backward class people did not get representation in this. I feel suffocated by the way people are being ignored these days.

When the party’s national president Mallikarjun Kharge was consulted regarding the State Election Committee, he had also said that OBC chairman should be included in it. Despite that, the chairman was not included and other OBC people were included. I am quite hurt by this.

Being the chairman of OBC in forming the State Election Committee, no opinion was taken from me regarding backward classes. They are seeking applications for only 10 seats. There should also be a condition of applying draft of Rs 1 lakh along with the application and it should not be refundable, so that only those people who are serious about contesting the elections can apply. In such a situation, anyone who did not contest the election of councilor will also apply.
This time there is also discussion about the name of Mahendragarh MLA Rao Dan Singh on Gurugram seat. In such a situation, when the Captain was asked about Daan Singh, he said – Daan Singh has no standing to contest the elections. Will contest elections on the basis of money. But I say that if the boy shows the elections, he will know.

I had contested the last elections from Gurugram. This time we have deployed a survey team. In Gurugram and Badshapur. This someone is doing some work for free. The survey team will also submit the report by 16 February. I did not even go to Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. So that we will prepare here. I have been visiting villages for 3 months. I have visited 400 and a half villages.

Captain Ajay Singh Yadav said that Rahul Gandhi had said 6 months ago to form an organization in 1 month. But the organization has not been formed yet. His words were not taken seriously. Why not form an organization? What is the problem in that? Give me 1 month’s time, I will make an organization and show it. I believe that wherever there is an MP candidate, an organization should be formed accordingly. He has not even become the district president yet.
