Following the recent debacle in the assembly elections held in five states, the Congress Party high command continues to mull over every possible strategy to survive politically in other states where the party is in a better position to some extent. In this continuation it came to light that the party high command is meeting continuously with the party stalwarts of Haryana so that the ongoing feud among the senior leaders can be brought to an end. Earlier, Bhupendra Singh Hooda, a senior party leader and Leader Of Opposition in Haryana had met the party command in Delhi amid the ongoing assembly session of Haryanay which ended recently, to discuss the ongoing scenario and issues.

A party meeting involving the high command as well as the party leaders hailing from Haryana will be conducted in Delhi on March 25th 2022in order to settle down the issues between the state party leaders. There are a string of issues namely pending organisational appointments in the party so far, feud among the senior party leaders and many more aspects, which are likely to be discussed in this meeting. It is a noticeable fact that the Haryana Congress has entirely failed so far to make appointments at block as well as district levels which added to the woes of the party in the state. So it is evident from the pending organisation appointments that the parties continue to crawl in comparison to the ruling faction BJP as the BJP is in a far better position on this matter in Haryana.

Hooda and Kumari Shailja are at loggerheads over the issue of political dominance in the state. Although they were on good terms with each other, things got worse after Kumari Shailja was denied the Rajya sabha seat and Hooda succeeded in getting the Rajya sabha seat for his son Deependra Singh Hooda. Other senior party leaders namely Kiran Chaudhary Kuldeep Bishnoi, Randeep Surjewala and captain Ajay Yadav are not in good terms with Hooda for a long time which led to increase the troubles of the party in the state.

It is the need of the hour for the party high command to deal with such issues damaging the party in Haryana and if the party high command fails to do so the things might prove a nightmare for the party in future.
