Haryana Congress has made major changes in the Election Committee and Political Affairs Committee set up on January 21.KC Venugopal who holds the portfolio of General Secretary of All India Congress Committee (AICC) issues a letter on Tuesday addressing Deepak Babria , Haryana Congress incharge stating that Congress President has approved the proposal for the inclusion of all AICC Secretaries from Haryana as members of the Pradesh Election Committee and Political Affairs Committee of Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee.

It is noteworthy that the Congress high command has set up the Pradesh Election Committee and Political Affairs Committee of Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee along with Manifesto Committee and Disciplinary Committee in wake of the forthcoming polls which is being viewed as a part of the electoral preparations.

Everyone is pretty familiar with the prevailing feud among the party stalwarts and the thorough formation of aforementioned committees by the party high command, the Congress high command has tried to bring the factionalism to an end which is not going to be cakewalk in view of the prevailing scenario.

It is evident from the formed committee that Bhupender Singh Hooda and aides are dominating the state Congress with unilateral hold adding to the woes of the leaders of the SRK faction namely Kumari Selja, Randeep Surjewala and Kiran Chaudhary. Hooda faction has been given the hold of the 3 committees while SRK team has been given berth in two committees which clearly indicates the weakened position of arch rivals of Hooda.

The leadership of 24 members Haryana’s State Election Committee, formed by Congress Party National President Mallikarjun Kharge, has been given to state unit President Uday Bhan, a loyal and close one to Hooda and list of members includes Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Kumari Selja, Randeep Singh Surjewala, Kiran Chaudhry, Deepender Singh Hooda, Dr. Raghuvir Singh Kadyan, Aftab Ahmed, Capt. Ajay Yadav, Mahender Pratap, Kuldeep Sharma, Ashok Arora, Rao Dan Singh, Jaiveer Balmiki, Bishan Lal Saini, Shishpal Keharwala, Jai Prakash, Jitender Bhardwaj, Ramniwas Ghorela, Sushil Indora, Chakravarty Sharma, Col. Rohit Chaudhry, Amit Yadav and Teluram Jangra. Similarly, Ex-Officio Members include. President, Haryana Pradesh Youth Congress, President, Haryana Pradesh Mahila Congress, Chief Organizer, Seva Dal, Haryana and President, Haryana NSUI.

In this series, Political Affairs Committee of 51 members has been constituted under the chairmanship of state party incharge Deepak Babaria, includes Udai Bhan state party president, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Kumari Selja, Randeep Singh Surjewala, Kiran Chaudhry, Deepender Singh Hooda, Capt.
