Ahead of Gujarat Assembly polls Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from the Manavadar assembly seat, Jawahar Chavda slammed Aam Aadmi Party and Congress and said both the parties do not offer any competition and BJP will win.

“Bharat Jodo? I think it is useless. After the scrapping of Article 370, the entire India became one. Congress doesn’t want to win, that’s what I felt while staying in the party,” Chavda said.

Meanwhile, in the Ahir community, Chavda is one of the most influential leaders. Earlier in 2019 Jawahar Chavda resigned from Congress and joined BJP.

After joining BJP Chavda was given the responsibility and was made the Cabinet minister of Tourism and Fisheries in the state government.

“For the last 32 years, I’m here and won around five polls. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is nowhere in the picture. Congress is trying its level best,” Chavda said.

Moreover in the Gujarat assembly elections, the BJP leader is hopeful to win the election from the Manavadar seat of Junagadh.

“It’s easier for me to win this time as I proved what power can do and how I can help people,” Chavda said.

However, Bharat Jodo Yatra began on September 7 from Kanyakumari, and currently, it has covered Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Maharashtra and is in Madhya Pradesh. In the history of India, this is the longest march foot done by any Indian politician.

Furthermore, the elections in Gujarat will be held in two phases on 1 December and 5 December. The counting of the votes will take place on 8 December.
