After the conclusion of voting in the assembly by-elections for seven seats in Rajasthan, major political leaders from both the BJP and Congress have been deployed to campaign for the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections. The BJP has sent more than 10 prominent leaders to Maharashtra, including Chief Minister Bhajan lal Sharma, who is actively participating in the campaign. These leaders are focusing on key constituencies across the state to ensure the party’s strong presence in the race. On the other hand, the Congress has also ramped up its efforts by sending over 15 leaders, including state president Govind Singh Dotasara and Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie, who have been assigned responsibilities to campaign in different constituencies in Maharashtra.
With the Rajasthan by-elections now concluded, key leaders from Congress have turned their focus to campaigning for the upcoming elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand. In Maharashtra, Congress leaders from Rajasthan are putting in significant efforts to support the India Alliance and Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) candidate Praveena Manish Morajkar in the Kurla Assembly seat. As the election day approaches in Maharashtra, the Rajasthan leaders’ presence exhibit the significance of these polls. Rajasthan leaders are pulling all stops to campaign for India Alliance Shiv Sena Uddhav Thackeray’s candidate Praveena Manish Morajkar in Kurla assembly elections in Maharashtra.
Former RTDC president Dharmendra Rathore said that India Alliance government is being formed in Maharashtra. Many leaders of the state are engaged in campaigning under the guidance of AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge, Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Rajya Sabha member Sonia Gandhi, General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi and former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. Many leaders, including former minister Dr Raghu Sharma, organised street meetings and conducted door-to-door public relations campaigns in support of India Alliance Party Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) candidate Praveena Manish Morajkar from Kurla assembly in Maharashtra assembly elections. During this, MLA Rafiq Khan MLA and MLA Amin Kagzi were also present.
Additonally, Sachin Pilot and Ashok Gehlot have been made in-charge of two different areas of Mumbai, while State Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara and Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie have also started campaigning in Maharashtra. Dotasara addressed a public meeting in support of Mahavikas Aghadi candidates in Maharashtra. He addressed a public meeting in support of Congress candidate Amin Patel from Mumbadevi assembly constituency, Shiv Sena-UBT candidate Bhairulal Chaudhary (Jain) from Malabar Hill and Congress candidate Heera Dewasi from Colaba.

Among the leaders from Rajasthan who were present in the meeting were former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Congress General Secretary Jitendra Singh, Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie ji, former minister Raghu Sharma, Sukhram Bishnoi, Pramod Jain Bhaya, MLA Ratan Dewasi, Samarjit Singh, Rafiq Khan, Amin Kagzi, former Chairman of RTDC Dharmendra Rathore, former Chairman of Public Grievances Redressal Cell Pukhraj Parashar. Actually, a large number of migrant Rajasthanis live in Mumbai who are in a decisive position on eight to ten seats. The purpose behind the visits of BJP and Congress leaders is to get the votes of migrant Rajasthanis to their party.
Julie-Dotasara held a public meeting
Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie held a public meeting at Mumba Devi Malabar Hill on Saturday. He will also campaign at many places on Sunday. Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara campaigned in favour of party candidates in Mumbai. He will also campaign in favour of party candidates on Sunday. Apart from these, MLAs Rita Chaudhary, Amin Kagzi, Rafiq Khan, former minister Raghu Sharma, Sukhram Vishnoi, Ramlal Jat are also campaigning in Maharashtra.
