BookMyShow gave fans a glimpse of what’s to come by releasing a short teaser of the upcoming concert on its Instagram profile. The teaser features a motion image announcing Coldplay’s performance in Mumbai, drawing enthusiastic reactions from fans. One fan commented, “Let’s goo!!!” while another exclaimed, “Wohooo!” Another fan shared their excitement by saying, “Can’t wait to be there with my yellows for life.”

Coldplay last performed in India in 2016 as part of the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai. The event featured a lineup of several other artists and bands and aimed to promote global development goals. The upcoming concert will be Coldplay’s first-ever solo performance in India. During their 2016 performance at the Global Citizen Festival, the band won over Indian fans with a “namaste” greeting and by hoisting the Indian flag as part of their set.
As part of the Music of the Spheres World Tour, Coldplay has performed in various regions including Asia, Latin America, Europe, North America, and Australia over the past two years.
