CM Yogi has directed that the relief funds be released to the families of the deceased as soon as possible. According to the announcement, the Chief Minister has also directed that proper treatment be provided to those affected in the disaster. On Monday, a lightning strike killed two farmers and injured five more in Mirzapur district.
Anupriya Patel, Union Minister and Mirzapur MP, has urged residents to be cautious. “The residents of the district are requested to exercise caution and leave their homes only for essential work,” she said in a post on X.
