In line with Chief Minister Manohar Lal’s vision and the Energy Department’s initiative, Haryana is once again witnessing the realization of the “Haryana illuminated with the light of knowledge” campaign, this time at Yavanika Town Park Sector 5.
The event, organized by the Power Distribution and Generation Companies’ Chairman, PK Das, and coordinated under the guidance of Additional Chief Secretary AK Singh, TL Satyaprakash, Chief Administrator of HSVP, and Dr. Amit Kumar Agarwal, Managing Director of HVPNL, with the support of HPGCL Managing Director Mohammad Shine, is set to showcase the best books from all Indian languages, emphasizing the “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat” concept.
Under the leadership of Haryana Electricity Distribution Corporation’s Managing Director, Dr. Saket Kumar, this fair serves as a platform for discussing solutions to contemporary issues emerging from the temple of knowledge. DC Sushil Sarwan and DCP Sumer Pratap are encouraging citizen participation in the second book fair.
Dedicated to the literary and cultural heroes of Haryana, the Panchkula Book Fair carries the slogan “Haryana Ek Haryanvi Ek.” The fair features a Ram Mandap highlighting Ram, particularly in literature, as the central attraction. National Book Trust, Sahitya Akademi New Delhi, Publications Division, NCERT, , Rekta Foundation, are actively involved in preparing and decorating the book fair.
Special stall for eBooks
The focal point for attendees will be the World Reader eBooks, an international organization. The younger generation of readers will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the river of knowledge through audio-visual content within the fairgrounds.
Dr. Amit Kumar Aggarwal, the Managing Director of HVPNL, announced that students will conduct daily cultural presentations and creative activities during the fair as part of their school education.
