The Haryana Government, under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Manohar Lal, has approved the implementation of six crucial projects worth over Rs. 98 crores under the Rural Augmentation & Mahagram Scheme. These projects are set to benefit the districts of Charkhi Dadri and Bhiwani, addressing essential infrastructure needs and improving the overall quality of life for residents.

One of the significant projects sanctioned under the Mahagram Yojana involves the augmentation of the water supply scheme in the village of Bapora, District Bhiwani. The initiative includes the repair of existing water works, establishment of two boosting stations, and the laying of distribution pipelines, all estimated to cost Rs. 17.86 crore. Additionally, the scheme aims to provide sewerage facilities and a sewage treatment plant in the same village, with an estimated expenditure of Rs. 27.25 crore, further emphasizing the government’s commitment to holistic development.

As part of the Rural Augmentation program, the government will focus on the renovation and up-gradation of the water supply scheme in the village of Alakhpura, District Bhiwani. This includes the laying of DI pipelines at an estimated cost of Rs. 7.86 crore, contributing to improved water infrastructure in the region. Another key initiative involves the renovation of the water supply scheme in the Ghikada group of villages, District Charkhi Dadri. This project, valued at Rs. 5.09 crore, encompasses the construction of an RCC tank and other essential structures to enhance water supply reliability.

Furthermore, the government will undertake the renovation of existing structures at the waterworks and lay the remaining pipelines in Balali village, District Charkhi Dadri, at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.60 crore. Additionally, the replacement of the water supply pipeline in Gudana village, District Charkhi Dadri, is set to be addressed with a budget of Rs. 39 lakh.

These comprehensive projects under the Rural Augmentation & Mahagram Scheme underscore the government’s dedication to infrastructure development, ensuring access to essential services and improving the overall well-being of the residents in Charkhi Dadri and Bhiwani districts. The strategic allocation of funds reflects a commitment to sustainable development and upliftment of rural areas in Haryana.
