Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday lashed out at the CM Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy and called him an all-round destructor who turned the state into a global corona hub.

Fuming on the state government, Naidu said that the state had emerged as a global hotspot next only to America and Brazil. While highlighting the case of a person who attempted suicide for not getting Covid treatment, the ex-CM also said that the dangerous situation in the state was highlighted in the national media as well. He further advised the government to stop implementing its destructive policies which were crippling agriculture, irrigation, industry and other sectors of Andhra Pradesh.

While attacking the Andhra government and labelling its works as ‘true destruction’, Naidu also pointed out the development works done by Telugu Desam Party (TDP) previously in the state.“ The ruling party leaders have only focused on Amaravati’s demolition and suppression of different sections of people in the past 15 months. Consequently, all the developmental projects launched by the TDP government were stopped. While TDP launched hundreds of big projects for development and prosperity in all the 13 districts in three regions, the YSRCP followed a totally destructive priority. As a result, the people are getting badly affected along with their future generations”, he said. Denouncing the three capitals formula for Andhra Pradesh, Naidu also asserted that the TDP completed 72 percent works of the Polavaram project but the YSR Congress Party’s bad policies led to obstructions and non-completion of the project till now.“Polaravam was one of the promises included in the Reorganisation Act. If works were continued, this huge project would have been completed by 2019. The YSRCP was not spending a single paisa while the TDP spent Rs. 64,000 crore by beginning 62 irrigation projects of which 23 projects were completed,” he said.
