On Friday, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated 36 schemes worth Rs 95 crores and 9 lakhs, and also laid the foundation stone for various development projects in Kaladhungi of Uttarakhand’s Nainital, an official release from the state government said.

The chief minister stated, “Today’s day will prove to be helpful in bringing in a new era of development in Vidhansabha Kaladhungi,” in his remarks on the occasion. These 36 projects are concerned with matters of public concern, such as the building of highways, the improvement of drinking water supplies, and irrigation potential.

He added that these projects have paved the way for the future of this region, and that after they are finished, the region would see comprehensive development. The drinking water programme will benefit 8012 local residents, he continued.

The Chief Minister said that strict anti-copying law has been implemented in the state for transparency in examinations. This month 4 competitive exams are being conducted and requests for vacant posts have been sent to the commission.

The state administration will execute a new education strategy, construct a horizontal reservation system for the state’s women, develop a draught of the Uniform Civil Code, and give Antyodaya families access to three gas cylinders. The administration has done everything from enacting a rigorous anti-copying law to providing 10% horizontal reservation in government posts to state agitators and their dependents, according to CM Dhami.

In Vidhan Sabha Kaladhungi, the Chief Minister unveiled two projects: the Rs 159 lakh Anandpur Tubewell Drinking Water Scheme and the Rs 398 lakh Lamachaud Khas Tubewell Drinking Water Scheme. In addition to this, CM Dhami also set the cornerstone for 34 other plans to build Kaladhungi.
