A high-level delegation of the Rajasthan government led by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma participated in the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ investor roadshow in Munich on the second day of his Germany visit. He invited German investors and innovators to set up units in Rajasthan. Addressing the investor roadshow, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma called upon the German business community and business groups to invest in various sectors of Rajasthan like automobile, ESDM, supply chain and logistics, tourism, petroleum, mines and minerals, renewable energy, defence, packaging and so on. He said that good results have started being achieved due to the positive environment created for investment in Rajasthan. Within two months of the announcement of the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024, MoUs worth more than Rs 15 lakh crore have been signed so far.
He said, “India is being seen as a supply chain destination for global companies. Due to its proactive and development-oriented policies, Rajasthan is ready to become a reliable partner of these companies in India. The Government of Rajasthan is with you at every step to make your investment prosperous and safe.”
MoUs signed with many major German companies
In this investor roadshow held in Munich, the Rajasthan government signed MoUs with many major German companies like Albatross Projects, Flixbus, Partex NV, Welly Technics GmbH, and Ingo Schmitz. These companies work in sectors like defence, mobility, artificial intelligence (AI), automobile and skill development sectors. Apart from this, the delegation led by Sharma also interacted with German investors, business groups and innovators and invited them to invest in Rajasthan.

Met Non-Resident Rajasthanis also
During this, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari met the NRR (Non-Resident Rajasthani) community settled in Munich under the aegis of German-Indian Business Forum. They were also invited to cooperate in the development of Rajasthan and encouraged to participate in the upcoming Rising Rajasthan Summit. On this occasion, Sharma said that the state had the privilege of presenting the amazing development journey of Rajasthan in Germany through the Rising Rajasthan Summit and inviting global investors to join our transformational journey. With a population of about eight crores, Rajasthan is ready to become a global hub of new industrial investment opportunities.

Rajasthan will play a leading role in the field of startup innovation: Diya Kumari
At the same time, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari said that Rajasthan will also play a leading role in the field of startup innovation.
“Through the I-Start Rajasthan program, we will encourage innovation, entrepreneurship, and funding support. In our commitment to sustainable development, we will bring a Green Budget, under which there will be a plan to plant seven crore trees. We will establish the state as the renewable energy capital of India.”
She said that Rajasthan will provide an environment of cooperation for industry, entrepreneurs and partners, while focusing on women empowerment and inclusive development.
She called upon German investors to work together with the Rajasthan government to build a future of innovation, sustainability and shared prosperity.
