To show solidarity with the agitating wrestlers in Delhi West Bengal Chief Minisfer Mamata Banerjee announced government employment for wrestlers of the state. A few days back TMC had organised a protest rally demanding arrest of accused BJP MP Brijbhusan Sing infront of the statue of legendary football player Gostho Pal in Maidan area. Chief Minister announced their protest will continue till the demands of the protesting wrestlers are met. In that meeting some of the state sportsperson including wrestlers attended the . CM announced that she will give employment to the wrestlers. Initially two wrestlers are selected. They were asked to convey the message to the protesting wrestlers in Delhi.
former Tripura CM summoned to Delhi
For BJP two Loksabha seats have become important for the coming Loksabha poll in 2024. Tripura has two seats and BJP is holding those seats. Recently in Tripura factional fight between CMManick Saha and former CM Biplob Dev has turned an ugly turn. Former CM is openly criticising the present Government’s function and accused that Tripura party is taken over by the ‘outsiders’. Present CM is organising huge celebration for completion of one year term . In that celebration state BJP was projecting the dynamic role played by the present CM and ignored the performance of the former which irked Biplov. Recently he was in Delhi to meet Party President J P Nadda to air his views. In a tweet Biplov claimed that party President had discussed with him state party matters. The followers of CM was spreading that former CM was summoned by the party President and cautiioned him. No body knows which version is true.
Mithun Chakravarty wants to become CM for ‘six months’
Bollywood star once played a role of Chief Minister for 24 hours in a bengali film. There he had changed the system of governance of the state which became very popular among the people. Later People forced him to remain as CM permanently. Recently Mithun attended a meeting organised by the BJP’s student wing ABVP in West Bnegal where he had said that if BJP wants to come to power in Bengal he should be projected as CM. But he will remain Chief Minister for six months only. During that period he would change the state education system overnight so that no corruption would take place. But the local leaders are scared about the ambition of Mithun. This is the first time that one leader has openly claimed the post of Chief Ministership of the state.
