A Delhi court on Friday reserved its order on plea to take cognizance of a chargesheet filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) against Congress leader Jagdish Tytler in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. The court will pass the order on July 19. During the proceedings, the CBI told the Rouse Avenue Court that a “clear-cut case” was made against Jagdish Tytler.
Notably, the central probe agency has also asked Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) to expedite the process of forensic examination of the voice sample of Tytler.
The court said it would take time to go through voluminous records and reserved its order for July 19.
