In order to sort out grievances of people in Haryana, the state government has set up Centralisation Public Grievance Redressal Mechanism System (CPGRAMS) and it came to notice in place of filing genuine problems, they continue to send strange demands on the aforesaid portals which led to increase in troubles of the concerned deployed staff. An official divulged the information saying that people are sending strange demands on the portal which is not fair as it leads to the wastage of time and energy as well. Besides, it increases their workload unnecessarily and results in delay of solutions to general problems for commoners. In wake of this, what is required is that people should refrain from putting strange demands on the portal.

It is pertinent to mention that the portal receives around 200 complaints a day and among these , maximum complaints belong to departments namely Police, Panchayat Development, Urban Local Bodies and Property Dispute. The staff members dispose of the complaints taking into consideration their nature and inform the complaints regarding the same. Further, officials said that people continue to demand to get them married, even with a certain set of conditions which is not possible and in wake of this, the concerned staff face hurdles. Apart from this, several people demand to provide them security for unnecessary reasons which is quite strange and leads to affecting the working of the department. Similarly, a demand was received pertaining to providing a woman security and for the same, she mentioned the reason as being haunted by shadows.

It also came to light that a lot of people are sending their demands saying that they should be provided posts namely, Chief Information Commissioner, Advisor to CM and, along with some other higher posts. A person from Bihar demanded that he should be deployed as Advisor to the Chief Minister. Thus, complaints or demands of such kind of nature continued to add to the woes of the concerned wing looking at the functioning of the portal.

It is learnt that a string of complaints sent to the portal are against the senior officials of different departments.
