The newly unveiled strategic bomber B-21 Raider of the United States has been deemphasized by the Chinese state media as it termed the world’s first sixth-generation aircraft, as a “propaganda sample”.
Northrop Grumman, a US-based provider of defence technologies, jointly unveiled the B-21 Raider stealth bomber last week in California to great excitement. Global Times, while ridiculing the hoopla surrounding the stealth bomber, claimed that whereas major nations strictly maintain the secrecy of their “assassin’s mace,” the B-21’s marketing and promotion are comparable to “online stardom.”
The B-21’s competitive advantage will last for decades, according to US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, who spoke during the ceremony in California. According to Austin, the B-21 bomber won’t be theater-based, won’t require logistical support to put any target in jeopardy, and won’t be easy to spot by even the most advanced air defence systems.
He further said that the B-21 would be the most viable bomber ever built, which is designed to deliver both standard and nuclear ammunitions with intimidating precisions.
It has been said by the Global Times that the US Congress is going to give more budget to the instructions of the B-21 Raider, by exaggerating he threats of China’s military power.
The real technical level of the B-21 raider has not been regarded and the editorial in the media said “it is more like a propaganda sample that the US military-industrial complex needs to secure military budgets and for the military to push the so-called integrated deterrence against China.”
American multinational Northrop Grumman claims that the B-21 Raider is the foundation of US air power’s future in a statement. Stealth, information advantage, and open architecture are among its sixth-generation features.

Additionally, it demonstrates the Department’s ongoing dedication to developing cutting-edge capabilities that will strengthen America’s capacity to thwart aggression both now and in the future. “Strong, bipartisan support in Congress was the cornerstone upon which this bomber was constructed. We will soon test this aircraft in the air, fly it, and then put it into production thanks to your support ” he added.
