Xu told a US court that he had not met some of his children yet because work commitments kept him busy. He said he planned to bring them to China in the future.

The story escalated after Xu’s former partner, Tang Jing, claimed that he had fathered more than 300 children, far more than the number publicly acknowledged. She alleged that she personally raised 11 of those children for years.
“That number might even be undercounted, but it’s certainly not exaggerated,” Tang Jing said in a social media post.
