According to Syracuse police spokesman Lt Matthew Malinowski, the incident took place after hundreds of people had congregated on the 100 block of Davis Street in the city’s west side when gunfire was heard at 12:22 am (local time).While attempting to escape what the police department described as a “large gathering of hundreds of people” on the city’s West Side, other victims reportedly unintentionally got hit by cars.All of the injured, three men and ten women, aged 17 to 25, are likely to live, according to Malinowski. The 13 victims that are known were discovered on the streets or later in hospitals, he continued.
