As part of the probe in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) interrogated the late actor’s cooks Neeraj Singh and Keshav Bachner, flatmate Siddharth Pithani, and former CA Rajat Mewati.

The four are being considered important witnesses as they were the first to call the key-maker to Rajput’s room. This was the first time that the CBI spoke to Rajat Mewati and Keshav Bachner. Earlier, Keshav had been questioned by Mumbai Police as he is the only witness who saw Sushant Singh Rajput alive — while he had brought him juice — before the actor had gone to his room and locked the door. All four men were interrogated over more than 7 hours at the DRDO guesthouse in Santacruz East on Monday.

A CBI team also went to the Waterstones Hotel in Andheri, where Sushant used to go for spiritual healing. The statement of the hotel’s general manager was recorded. The CBI has asked for more details and documents related to Sushant, which are supposed to be provided to them via email. Another Bureau team visited Cooper Hospital.
