Tanner Fox Faces Life Sentence for 2022 Assassination of Ripudaman Malik

A British Columbia court has sentenced 24-year-old Tanner Fox to life imprisonment without parole for 20 years for the 2022 murder of Ripudaman Singh Malik. British Columbia Supreme Court Justice Terence Schultes delivered the verdict in New Westminster on Tuesday.

A Canadian court convicted Fox of second-degree murder in Canada. Moreover, in a prepared statement, he read aloud during sentencing, “I know nothing I say will bring him back. I’m sorry for the role I played in this crime.”

He refused to disclose who financed his crime, and his co-accused, Jose Lopez, allegedly assisted him. Lopez is yet to be sentenced.

Ripudaman Singh Malik’s Family

Malik’s daughter-in-law, Sundeep Kaur Dhaliwal, begged Fox to bring the culprits who designed the murder out and said that that was the “right thing to do,” wrote the Vancouver Sun. Prosecutors said Malik was shot multiple times in a “planned and deliberate killing.” The assailants were given a “financial reward for the murder”.

Earlier, Malik was controversially linked to the 1985 Kanishka bombing.  He was also acquitted due to a lack of evidence. Later, he disowned the Khalistan movement. He even praised Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi before being assassinated on July 14, 2022, in Surrey, London.

A Canadian court has ruled Tanner Fox guilty of life in prison for his murder of Ripudaman Singh Malik in 2022. Reports suggest he orchestrated this heinous, financially motivated crime.
