Meghan Markle decided to head back to California leaving Prince Harry behind to continue Invictus Games activity in Canada. The Duchess supported her husband for five days at the event honouring injured veterans before she decided to leave early. She returned on Tuesday to be with her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
“This was always intended.” Daily Mail reported a source as saying Meghan would be going back to be with her children. Meghan headed home after five days the games in Düsseldorf started. She is there to assist Prince Harry’s show, but this was arranged.”
Meghan’s Love of Family
Meghan went tubing with family and friends in Whistler just before she left. She left in the afternoon leaving Prince Harry to take charge and give out mountain skiing awards.
Meghan supposedly said while at the matches that she missed her kids. She held their seven-month-old child, Laramie, and introduced an Alaskan couple, Cynthia and James Phelps, during a Vancouver wheelchair basketball match.
She said she was an extremely happy infant. Cynthia told The Telegraph her kids were home and she was looking forward to seeing a really happy infant.
Staying at one of Vancouver’s most opulent hotels, the couple had arrived in the city on Friday and spent the weekend participating in several events including curling and wheelchair basketball. With a kiss given during the BC Place Stadium opening ceremony, their close mayubiquousness was clear.
Prince Harry said in his speech during the opening ceremony, “At this present moment, when there is no dearth of crises, no lack of uncertainty, and no lack of weak moral character in the world, the values you embody—your bravery, resiliency, and humanity—shine a path forward for us all.” These remarks followed soon after former US President Donald Trump condemned Harry’s marriage and threatened deportation.
