The price of commercial liquefied petroleum gas cylinders has increased. State-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) have announced new and increased prices of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinders from today (1 March 2024).

In Delhi, the retail price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder is now ₹ 1,795. In Mumbai, the same will cost Rs 1,749 from today whereas in Chennai and Kolkata the new price is ₹ 1,960 and ₹ 1,911 respectively.

Prices increase for the second time

This is the second consecutive time that government companies have increased the price of commercial gas cylinders. The price of 19 kg gas cylinder was increased by Rs 14 on 1 February 2024. At the same time, oil companies had increased the rates of commercial gas cylinders by ₹ 21 at various places across the country on 1 December 2023.
