In a remarkable move, Blinkit, the hyper-local delivery platform, has introduced a special feature that allows international orders for the festival. This initiative enables people living abroad to send rakhis and gifts to their loved ones in India with the promise of delivery within just 10 minutes.

International Orders Now Available for a Limited Time

CEO Albinder Dhindsa took to social media to announce this exciting new feature. He shared that Blinkit has activated international orders for Raksha Bandhan, allowing customers from selected countries to send their festive gifts to India. This service is available only until August 19th, giving customers a limited window to make use of the offer.

“Raksha Bandhan special – we’ve switched on international orders on Blinkit till 19th August. Folks living abroad can now place orders on Blinkit to send Rakhis and gifts to their siblings in India and we’ll deliver in 10 minutes!” Dhindsa wrote in his post. He further mentioned that the service is available in the USA, Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, France, and Japan.

The announcement has received widespread attention online, with the CEO’s post garnering over 11,000 views and nearly 400 likes. Many users praised the initiative, with one commenting, “Blinkit never disappoints us,” while another added, “For real? If yes, you’re winning the world – one rakhi at a time.”

Several users also expressed their excitement, asking whether the service would be available in additional countries. Others simply appreciated the convenience and thoughtfulness behind the offer, calling it a “lovely” gesture.
