Veteran Congress leader, Milind Deora announced to quit the Indian National Congress and is expected to join the Shiv Sena party, led by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde later today. Deaora eventually ended up in a 55-year-old relationship with INC (Indian National Congress).

Updating on X (Twitter), Deora quoted, “Today marks the conclusion of a significant chapter in my political journey. I have tendered my resignation from the primary membership of INC, ending my family’s 55-year relationship with the party. I am grateful to all leaders, colleagues & karyakartas for their unwavering support over the years.”

According to the media sources, Deora has scheduled his day, starting with visiting the Siddhivinayak Temple at 11 am today (Sunday), followed by his plan to visit the memorial of Balasaheb Thackeray on Kolaba and post that his plans to go to the Varsha Bungalow- that is the official residence of the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. It is said that by 2 pm Milind Deora will officially join the Shiv Sena party in the presence of the Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Sambhaji Shinde.

For the information, Milind Deora has served as the Union Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology and Shipping during the Congress tenure from 2012 to 2014.
