Bayview Projects, in collaboration with Bhutani Infra, has formally inked an agreement with the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) to forge ahead with the Noida International Film City.
This historic pact, finalized on June 27 amidst the stately surroundings of YEIDA’s Greater Noida office, heralds a transformative chapter for Uttar Pradesh’s cultural and economic fabric.
Notable luminaries, including acclaimed filmmaker Boney Kapoor, Ashish Bhutani of Bhutani Group, YEIDA CEO Arun Vir Singh, and Additional CEO Shailendra Bhatia, graced the occasion, underscoring the significance of this momentous ceremony. At its core, the agreement secures a sprawling 230-acre expanse in Sector 21 along the Yamuna Expressway, marking the genesis of a visionary 1,000-acre development.
With an estimated investment of Rs 1,510 crore, this visionary initiative mirrors the steadfast commitment of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s administration to elevate Uttar Pradesh’s film and entertainment sector. Bayview Projects clinched the bid by offering an unprecedented 18% revenue share, the highest among its competitors, signaling robust confidence in the project’s potential.
The envisioned Film City will unfold across seven meticulously planned zones, featuring a striking central tower with panoramic viewpoints, a cutting-edge cinema museum, a helipad, and contemporary amenities. Anchored by dedicated precincts encompassing 60 acres for film production, a sprawling 20-acre film university, and 15 acres for set design and costume manufacturing, the facility is strategically positioned just 6 km from the bustling Noida International Airport. Its holistic design aims not only to attract global filmmakers but also to nurture local talent and fortify regional infrastructure.
