Following the unexpected departure of Paresh Rawal from Hera Pheri 3, leaving everyone in surprise, rumors surrounding the replacement of the original Babu Bhaiya have started floating on the web with the front runners of such replacements being Pankaj Tripathi, known for his comic and dramatic performances, for Priyadarshan’s third part of the much-beloved Hera Pheri series.
Akshay Kumar has issued a legal notice demanding 25 crores in damages from Paresh Rawal for quitting and disrupting the film’s production after signing agreements.
Pankaj Tripathi’s Response to Replacement Claims
During an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Pankaj Tripathi answered questions about the backstage buzz on social media about him joining Phir Hera Pheri 3. To that, the actor replied he had noticed the rumor online as well but promptly dismissed it.
Pankaj Tripathi added that he has huge respect for Paresh Rawal and described him as an excellent actor and added that he would most probably not do that role. “I am nobody compared to Paresh ji. I admire him too much, and I just don’t think that I would be suitable for that character,” he stated.
Fans Suspect PR Gimmick
