The trio showcased their energetic moves and vibrant chemistry, generating excitement for the film among fans and the media. The promotional event highlighted the fun and dynamic nature of ‘Bad Newz’, setting a high anticipation for its release.
Directed by Anand Tiwari, “Bad Newz” is a romantic comedy showcasing a fresh trio of talents: Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk. The trailer, with its unconventional storyline where Dimri’s character discovers she’s expecting twins from two different fathers played by Kaushal and Virk, has intrigued and piqued audience curiosity about the film’s plot.
Recently, Vicky discussed the upcoming movie, stating, “Shooting this film felt like home to me because Anand Tiwari and Karan Johar, with whom I collaborated, created a comforting atmosphere. The script stood out to me as very strong and the film’s concept was refreshing. Although I haven’t explored comedy extensively as an actor, I found the humor in this film appealing.”
“It was a new experience for me, and the energy required for these scenes was palpable on set. Working with a team that felt like family was crucial because comedy is somewhat uncharted territory for me. So, I enthusiastically embraced the challenge,” added the actor.
Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra, and Anand Tiwari, “Bad Newz” is scheduled to hit theaters on July 19, 2024.
